I have been taking my dog, Genki, to Ruffin' It since September 2005. I cannot say enough good things about it! The staff really cares about the dogs and I never worry about leaving Genki there. She loves it and gets lots of excersise and socialization. Thank you to all who take such great care of my baby! I dont know what I would do without you.

I wanted to tell all the people of the world how much I love Ruffin' It. I have lots of friends that come to play with me and everyday I can't wait to get there. My mom says that if it wasn't for doggie day care she just doesn't know what she would do. Thanks for making me the happiest dog ever!

We would love to tell all about how great we think Ruffin' It is. We can no longer use the words "day care" in our home because Tufty knows what it means and gets so excited. We now use the "D place" when discussing taking him there. Thank you to Ruffin' It Staff for the wonderful care you give him when he is there. We learned just how much we can trust those that are employed there during his last stay with you. We know now how strongly the staff is committed to following the rules and guidelines set by the business. Thank you, Dean & Peggy Magnusson.
I wanted to tell every dog parent that is thinking of trying Ruffin' It to PLEASE take their dogs there. I used to hate riding in the car and I would get so nervous that I would get sick. After the first time at day care I now race to the car when they ask me to go to day care. I also hate to get my hair brushed. My mom and dad won't let me go to day care unless I get my hair brushed first. Now I jump up on the chair myself to get brushed because then I get to go play. Sometimes my mom and dad go out of town and I can not go with them. In fact I just got home from staying at DDC for 3 weeks. Its much more fun, than having to be confined in a kennel where I could not play with other dogs. The staff are really great and nice to me. Mom and Dad think its great to be able to use the web cam to see me playing. Especially when they are out of town. I even go to DDC when my parents are at home so I can socialize with other dogs and people, it also gives my sister a break because she is older and doesnt have as much energy as me. Thank you for bringing your dog to DDC to play with me.
Love, Tufty

Sophia Louise Schatz, our nine year old golden cross dog has seperation anxiety. This has been an issue for Sophie, since she was a puppy, adopted from the Polk County Humane Society.
The first sign of trouble was when Sophie destroyed her crate within the second month of arriving at our home. Her Dad found her with a bleeding nose and mouth from chewing frantically on the crate latch. We abandoned the crate. After that Sophie took to having her anxious melt downs at the back door. We endured a chewed door frame, door, window sills, window treatments, and torn up linoleum. We decided that indoor living wasn't Sophie's best option when we weren't home. We fixed up a section of our garage, heated it, and cut a doggie door into the wall of the garage. Sophie proceeded to attack the chain link fence at the back of the yard, she tore at the fence with her teeth, broke teeth, tore up her mouth ... and seriously tore up the chain link. During this episode, she learned to climb the fence and escape... her Dad found her wandering 20 feet from Hwy 2 during rush hour. We replaced the chain link fence with a six foot cedar fence. All was well, until Sophie's meltdowns included attacking the cedar fence gates. We were at our wit's end....what were we to do now, it wasn't safe to leave Sophie at home alone, and we both worked outside the home.
Then we learned about Ruffin' It Doggie Day Care...and thought we'd give it a try. That was over two years ago. Ruffin' It has been a blessing for us, we know that Sophie is safe, she is well attended too, and we no longer dread that first moment when we drive into the garage..."wondering" if she is alright. Sophie looks forward to her daycare time, when we pull into the parking area she screams with glee to get out of the car and into the center. Sophie isn't eager about the idea of playing with the dogs, she is eager because of the staff...Sophie acts like she IS part of that team. Sophie is totally enamored with the manager Joy, when I pull around the corner and see Joy's vehicle, I say to Sophie "Oh your Joy Joy is here today," that statement alone gets Sophie all excited.
If you stop by Ruffin' It, peer in the front window and there you will find our Sophie...she will be sitting in her chair waiting to greet you when you enter. Thanks to Ruffin' It, owning a dog with seperation anxiety isn't so difficult anymore.
Thanks team!
