Dog Boarding
Dogs must be at 16 weeks of age and/or have completed their series of distemper parvo vaccinations.
All dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordatella
(kennel cough) shots. Please note that the Bordatella vaccines
are administered by your veterinarian only at your request (i.e.
if you haven’t asked for it your dog probably hasn’t
had it).
When boarding, please bring a supply of your dog’s food,
in a closable container labeled with his/her name. It is important that their diet is not changed during their stay with us.
You may also bring beds, blankets or favorite toys with to make
their stay more comfortable. (Ruffin’ It will not be held
responsible for items that are lost or destroyed.) If you chose
not to, or forget, to bring your dogs food we will provide food or
we will purchase for you, the food that your pet regularly eats (please
note there will be an additional charge). Also, please be aware that it is common for pets to have a change in appetite or no appetite, some dogs may experience lethargy, vomiting, and/or diareah before, during or after their stay. This is normal and may be caused from a change in environment, nervousness, excersise or simply the change in routine.
If you must cancel, please do so within 48 hours prior to your
reservation so that we may offer that time to others who need our services.
A Medication Waiver must
be signed and dated before we can give your pet medication. This form will provide us with the medication name, dosage and times to be administered. All medication should be kept in its original packaging
with your dogs name listed on the label.
